My recent stay at a resort in Setiu was overall a positive experience. the location was convenient and perfect for those who plan to take an early boat to the nearby islands. the bathroom was a bit small, but still functional. Despite being under renovation, my room was clean, and there was no musty smell present. the staff was friendly and accommodating, and I appreciated being able to stroll along the beach and explore the nearby village.
The resort had some cats walking around, which may not be suitable for those who are allergic to them.

As a traveler in transit to a nearby island, staying in this hotel was simply great. The hotel is strategically located for easy access to transportation - just a 3km drive to the jetty. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming as they decorated the bed for my anniversary trip. Apart from the above, the hotel facilities and cleanliness were top-notch.
Could not be improved in any way.

Spending New Year's at this resort was a great experience. The beautiful beach and the variety of water activities available were the best aspects. Additionally, the proximity to the local market and the convenience store made it easy to get basic necessities. The cozy rooms and the 24-hour reception were also a plus point.
The rooms were quite cramped, the air conditioning system was not efficient, and there were some minor maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. The noisy surroundings at night made it difficult to sleep, and it was a bit far from the jetty point, which was inconvenient for those who wanted to travel to nearby islands.

My stay at Kembara Resort was wonderful! The location was perfect for my needs as I was in transit to Redang via Merang Jetty. The resort is just 3km away from the jetty, making it incredibly convenient. I enjoyed taking a leisurely stroll along the beach and exploring the nearby village. I even discovered a stall selling delicious fish crackers called Bayu Keropok Lekor, which was a must-try. Despite the resort undergoing some upgrades, my room was new and comfortable. I can't wait to see the additions they have planned, such as a karaoke room and a pool. I had a positive experience at Kembara Resort and would recommend it to others.

The location near the jetty made it a perfect spot for a romantic escape. We enjoyed the short stroll to the beach and exploring the nearby village. The fish crackers sold at the local stall were a must-try. Additionally, the affordable price and basic amenities were adequate for a one-night stay.
The room size, as it was too small even for two persons, and there was no privacy due to poor soundproofing. Also, the price charged at check-in was higher than what was advertised online, and we were not informed about the breakfast option during check-in.

Great location near the beach and jetty. Budget-friendly with basic amenities. Opportunity for beach strolls and village sightseeing. Must try Bayu Keropok Lekor nearby. Friendly staff; even decorated bed.
Nothing to mention.
